Antique Latin Manuscript on Sheepskin Parchment,Unique and historic 1526 real estate agreement in manuscript on vellum. Official authorization and approval of a most unusual agreement in which a third party is authorized to receive a commission on the sale of real estate. Commissions on real estate transactions at that time were unheard of because the concept was considered highly unethical. This is the earliest known record of this type of real estate agreement. This document was considered so unusual that it was signed and notarized by state officials

Higganum CT Licquor License Oct 31 1880

Higganum CT Liquor License Oct 31 1881, This " Liquor License" was issued to L I and E. D. Barry for Barrys Store in the town of Higganum CT on ninth day of November 1880 and expires on Oct 31 1881. This came to us from a book we acquired listing all the liquor licenses issued in CT To sell and exchange Intoxication Liquors and was signed by the County Commissioners in the 1880's. This liquor License is for "Barry's Store". This would make the perfect addition to any restaurant,bar or rec room. The printed license measures 8 inches by 10 inches.

Goodspeed Landing East Haddam CT liquor License

East Haddam CT Liquor License 9 th November 1880, This " Liquor License" was issued to Frank Leanly? CT on ninth day of November 1880 and expires on Oct 31 1881. This came to us from a book we acquired listing all the liquor licenses issued in CT To sell and exchange Intoxication Liquors and was signed by the County Commissioners in the 1880's. This liquor License is for "Goodspeed Landing". This would make the perfect addition to any restaurant,bar or rec room. The printed license measures 8 inches by 10 inches.Notice the charge for this license was $100 which was a tremendous amount of money in those days.

Antique document,Wrought Iron Bridge Company Canton Ohio Contract, This "Iron Bridge Contract" was proposed to the Board of Selectman of the Town of Middletown and Cromwell of Middlesex County Conn. signed By Eli S Brockett Agent North Haven CT Sept 1 1875. This such a wonderful piece of American history. The price quoted is an astounding $19 and fifty cents for a 70 foot long and sixteen foot wide Iron Bridge. The contract show a picture of the bridge and explains all the materials to be used. The contract measures 8 and one half by fourteen inches.

The districts covered are West District Long Hill 1838,Middlefield North District,1837,South District Middlefield 1843,Nuthingham c1826,Cornwall land 1826, Johnson Lane District1837,Middlefield North district 1843,North district Long Hill 1837, 1st district Westfield and many more to numerous to mention. These are very rare documents that show the costs of doing work in the first to second quarter of the 19th century in America.
